Grandma and Grandpa Stahle

I've been able to spend a lot more time than we have in the past with grandma and grandpa Stahle this summer as we've been working in our garden, which we've planted behind their home in the garden area. We will come inside and visit after working on the garden, or they'll come outside and sit in the shade and talk with us, or we'll visit on the front porch.

Thanks to this summer, I feel a lot closer to my grandparents and I've been able to get to know them more and have lots of fun conversations with them. I love my grandparents, they are so wonderful. I'm so glad that gardening has given me the excuse (as if I had to have one) to come over a lot more often so I could build these relationships even more.

I love these pictures of Westin with Grandma.

This next one is the best of them all!

I'm not sure why he started crying, but I will forever treasure this picture!

Swim time!

Back in April I was really looking forward for summer to get here so I could play with Westin at the pool! One thing I wanted to do was take a mommy-baby swimming class. I had seen a fun looking mommy-baby swimming class at the Farmington pool a few years back before and wanted to try it out. So I signed us up.

The class was in early July at a wonderful lady's house. It wasn't quite like the one I had seen before. Turns out this particular class was for babies-age 3. But really Westin was the only infant. Most of the other kids were probably between 2 and 3. So we had to improvise a lot, but we just went with it and still had so much fun. I learned a lot that I'll be able to use a little bit down the road!

Westin loves being in the water! He loves to splash and kick his legs in the water!
