U2!!!!

My sister and I were able to go to U2 last month thanks to a certain someone with the hookups. I'm not a super huge U2 fan, but I do have several of their cds and know most of their songs so I was rather excited. It was a fun night.

We grabbed some delicious Arella Pizza before the concert. Setabello still has my heart but this place sure was good!

We took Trax and ended up missing all of the opening show, The Fray, because we had to wait so long and half the city was waiting to take it too. We made it just in time to grab some to-die-for donuts and maple dip before the show started.

It's certainly cute, but I miss his hair. We're letting it grow back:)

6 years and counting...

We celebrated out 6th wedding anniversary this year by staying at the Anniversary Inn. We'd never stayed anywhere like this before so this was a treat for us. It was really nice for the two of us to get away, even just for one night. It's a great way to recharge your batteries.

I'd never had room service before so this was fun and it was sooo good!

 I admired the pretty tulips outside of the mansion. They remind me of our wedding day with the tulips blooming all over the temple grounds. I loved these ones. They look painted.

Before we headed out we grabbed some Ruby Snap cookies. Sooo good!

Westin's Quilt

I tend to start and not finish projects. I'm a project unfinisher. But this year I've tried to change that. I'm trying to stick with something until it's finished. So in this effort, I wanted to finish a quilt I started for Westin a while ago. I started a quilt for Westin back when I was pregnant, soon after I found out I was having a boy. Yeah, it's been a while, but a few months ago I finished it! Here is the finished product!

It was a delight to have Westin's first Easter egg hunt this year. Though he's still a little young to care about it all, he seemed to enjoy picking them up, shaking the surprises inside, and putting them in the basket.
